UNIT 5. PROJECT: WEB BLOG

INTRODUCTION

The glaciers are melting, the sea level is rising, the jungles are drying up and the fauna and flora struggle to keep up with this rhythm. It is increasingly evident that humans have caused most of the warming of the last century, through the emission of gases that retain heat, to enhance our modern life. We call greenhouse gases and their levels are getting higher, now and in the last 65,000 years.
We call the result global warming but it is causing a series of changes in Earth’s climate or long-term weather patterns that vary by location. As the Earth revolves every day, this new heat turns in turn picking up the moisture from the oceans, increasing here and settling there. The rhythm of the climate to which all living beings have become accustomed is changing.

MAIN CAUSES AND PREDICTIONS:

  • Increase of greenhouse gases.

If the greenhouse effect continues our planet would increase 2 degrees and would bring catastrophic consequences.

  • Burning fossil fuels.

The burning of fuels could cause droughts around the world.

  • Deforestation of forests.

If the green areas of the world will cease to exist, everyone would have respiratory diseases.

  • Excessive use of fertilizers

I think that if the high consumption of fertilizers continues, the entire ozone layer would cease to exist and we would have very serious skin diseases. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJC6nRc1BtQ

  • High production of waste.

If the waste increases methane, it will do the same and we could die.

CONCLUSION

Most of the global warming has occurred in the last 35 years, coinciding with the increase in the emission of greenhouse gases by man, as noted by NASA.
If we continue to pollute the planet we would end up with it, there would be enough catastrophes as we saw in the blog and there would be no solution. It is time to take things seriously to try to recover our planet.
